What does grass-fed, grain-finished mean?2026-02-20T19:07:50+00:00

Our cattle produce grass-fed, grain-finished beef, meaning they have all-day access to open pasture and hay, then are finished on a natural grain diet. This results in beef rich in marbling and flavor, without the use of growth hormones, antibiotics, or preservatives—creating a healthier, high-quality product.

What does ordering a 1/4 or 1/2 a steer look like?2026-02-20T19:12:26+00:00

Ordering beef in bulk gives you a large amount of high-quality beef at a better value. A quarter beef now averages $950–$1,050, depending on animal size, cut selection, and packaging options, yielding approximately 100–125 pounds of beef.

You’ll receive a variety of cuts, including roasts, ribs, soup bones, and premium steaks such as porterhouse, T-bone, ribeye, and sirloin, along with ground beef. We’ll provide a cut selection sheet so you can customize your order.

What does Raised Right, Right Here mean?2026-02-20T19:18:35+00:00

When we say “raised right,” we mean caring for our cattle with compassion and attention every day. They’re fed a nutritionally balanced diet without added growth hormones and are allowed to grow at a slower, more natural pace. We finish our cattle on natural grains such as corn, oats, and plant-based proteins grown here at home—never ethanol or brewing byproducts like those used in commercial feedlots.

“Right here” means just that: our beef is born and raised on our family farm in Fredonia, Wisconsin. We’re there from the day each calf is born until the day it heads to the processor.

What is pastured pork?2026-02-20T19:20:15+00:00

Our pigs are raised in outdoor pens or on pasture, depending on the weather. Their diet includes forage from the pasture, corn, and plant-based proteins. As a special treat, they’re also fed cheese, which we believe contributes to added back fat and the rich flavor we love—without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics.

What does “pasture-raised” chicken eggs mean?2026-02-20T19:21:26+00:00

Our chickens are raised on pasture and given the freedom to roam the farm. They peck for bugs and worms behind our cattle year round. This helps produce more nutrient-dense eggs for us to enjoy.
